Sub gross uses the headline prices ($4.99 / $9.99 / $24.99). Your share = gross × split (50/60/70%). Bits pay $0.01 each to the streamer. Ads use a $3.50 RPM rough average — actual CPMs vary heavily by region, content, and season.

Tax presets use rough effective rates for a self-employed individual at moderate income. Always check with a local accountant — actual rates depend on deductions, other income, and country-specific rules (NZ provisional tax, US SE tax, UK National Insurance, etc.).

The calculator values every income stream at its US headline rate and then applies your split. Tier 1 subs count at $4.99, Tier 2 at $9.99 and Tier 3 at $24.99, and the whole subscription total is multiplied by the split you pick. Bits pay a flat $0.01 each straight to you with no split applied, and ads are valued at $3.50 per thousand views. The country preset then removes a single flat tax percentage from the combined figure to give the take-home number.

The split selector and the tax preset swing the result hardest. Standard 50/50 is the default, the Plus program moves you to 60/40 and Partner Plus to 70/30 — and only sub revenue is affected, since bits and ads pass through untouched. Country presets apply 24% for the US, 20% UK, 26% Canada, 30% New Zealand and Germany, and 32.5% Australia, or pick No tax (gross only) to see the pre-tax figure. Prime subs get their own field and their own table row.

Everything is US dollars at US list prices. There is no currency conversion, no regional sub pricing, and no modelling of gifted-sub bursts, bounties, merch or direct sponsorships — usually the largest line for a bigger channel. Prime subs are valued at the full Tier 1 price and then split like any other sub, so the 60 and 70 percent options inflate them. The $3.50 ad figure is one flat average; real rates swing by region, category and season, making that row the softest number here.

자주 묻는 질문

How much do you make from 100 Twitch subs?

At the default 50/50 split, 100 Tier 1 subs at $4.99 gross $499 and return $249.50 to you before tax. Selecting the 70/30 Partner Plus option on the same 100 subs returns $349.30 instead. Tax is then deducted from the combined monthly total.

How much is 50,000 bits worth to a streamer?

Bits are valued at $0.01 each, so 50,000 bits is $500. The calculator deliberately applies no revenue split to bits — the full amount goes into your share, and only the country tax preset reduces it before the take-home figure.

What does the 70/30 split option mean?

It is the Partner Plus tier in the Sub revenue split dropdown. Choosing it multiplies gross subscription revenue by 0.7 instead of the standard 0.5. It applies to Tier 1, 2, 3 and Prime rows only; bits and ad income are calculated separately and unaffected.

Are Prime subs worth the same as Tier 1 subs?

The tool gives Prime its own field, values it at the $4.99 Tier 1 price and multiplies by your split, which is $2.50 at 50/50. Untick the checkbox to exclude Prime from the total, and do not also count those subs in the Tier 1 field.

Can I rely on the tax figure for my return?

No. The country options are single flat effective rates for a self-employed individual on moderate income. They ignore deductions, business expenses, other income, and mechanics like US self-employment tax, UK National Insurance and New Zealand provisional tax.
