Every ingredient is stored in fluid ounces and simply multiplied by your serving count, then converted for display at 29.5735 ml per ounce. Ten recipes are built in, from the 2 / 1 / 1 oz Margarita to the equal-parts 1 / 1 / 1 oz Negroni. Ingredients recorded as zero ounces — mint leaves, orange peel, a lime wedge — render as "to taste" with a multiplier rather than a volume, so they never inflate the batch total.

Servings scales linearly up to 500 and the Output unit select toggles millilitres or ounces. The pre-dilution slider runs 0 to 30 percent, defaulting to 20, and adds a chilled-water row so a bottled batch drinks like one stirred over ice. It fires only on the four stirred recipes flagged for dilution: Old Fashioned, Negroni, Manhattan and Dry Martini. For everything else the note tells you to batch the concentrate and add citrus fresh.

Moving that slider does nothing at all on the other six drinks, which is deliberate but entirely silent — no label greys out and no message explains it. The recipes are one fixed house spec each, with no way to edit an ingredient, adjust sweetness or add your own. The batch total is liquid volume only, taking no account of ice melt in the glass, bottle headroom, or the strength of what you have poured.

Preguntas frecuentes

How do I batch margaritas for a party?

Pick Margarita and set your servings; the tool multiplies its 2 oz tequila, 1 oz Cointreau, 1 oz lime juice and optional 0.25 oz agave. The note under the result warns you to leave the lime out until service, since fresh citrus dulls within hours.

Why do stirred drinks get water added but shaken ones do not?

A drink stirred over ice picks up roughly a fifth of its volume as meltwater. Bottling one without that would be harsh, so the tool adds a chilled-water row for the Old Fashioned, Negroni, Manhattan and Dry Martini. Shaken drinks get their dilution at service.

What pre-dilution percentage should I choose?

The slider runs 0 to 30 and starts at 20, which approximates a normal stir. Go higher if you are pouring straight from a freezer bottle with no ice at all, and lower if guests will drink over a large rock that keeps melting.

How large a bottle do I need for twenty Negronis?

Twenty servings of 1 oz each of gin, Campari and sweet vermouth is 60 oz, plus 12 oz of water at the default 20 percent, so 72 oz or roughly 2.1 litres. The result line shows that total in whichever unit you selected.

Can I change a recipe's proportions?

No. The ten recipes are fixed house specs with no way to edit an ingredient, adjust the sweetener or add a drink of your own. Read the per-serving column to see the spec in use, and scale a different recipe by hand if yours differs.
